Knitting

The knitting mill of the PLEAS a.s. belongs to one of the biggest and most modern knitting factories in the Czech Republic and middle Europe.

The machinery contains 157 circular knitting machines. Supplier companies of machinery are Monarch, Pilotelli, Orizio, Terrot, Albi, Stoll, Matsuya. All knitting machines are linked to the central data acquisition system MDE and equipped with modern devices by Memminger, knitting needles by Groz-Beckert and plates by Ch. Liebers. Using elastic yarn in all systems is possible.

The weight of the fabric rolls differs according to the kind of knitted fabrics and their construction and lies within the range of 10 kg to 30 kg.

The building is fully air-conditioned and the machines are fitted with enclosed gates for yarn cops for minimizing the generation of dust particles during manufacturing.

The knitting mill is operating three-shift on 5 days per week with a total capacity of 10t per day.

There are also realized orders in hired labor with self-purchased yarn as well as processing yarn supplied by customers.
